  10.    I used  to play a game on the  Spectrum
  11.    very often  called ViKing Raiders!  Its
  12.    a very quality  game origionally  relea
  13.    sed by FireBird. Now  it  has been  put
  14.    on the internet for ALL to  download!!!
  15.    I decided I would remake it  so it  wou
  16.    ld be alot faster  and maybe have  some
  17.    extras. However All  I  managed to do w
  18.    as convert it into  Arexx  and  make it
  19.    run about 3 times faster. This  I  thou
  20.    ght was good enough. So  I  decided  to
  21.    re-release it [seeing as it is  now fre
  22.    ely distributable]   on a self  booting
  23.    Amiga floppy Disk. To do  this I used t
  24.    he skeleton of Amiga  Workbench 3.1 and
  25.    basically adjusted the  Startup-Sequenc
  26.    e so that it automatically loaded  Viki
  27.    ng Raiders. This meant I had a  faster,
  28.    newer version of it which  was compatib
  29.    le with all AGA Amiga's.  Then I decide
  30.    d to add a title screen  to show everyo
  31.    ne who actually  converted and re-relea
  32.    sed this excell ent War Sim!  The title
  33.    page you see before  you is the title p
  34.    age I created. I created using the grab
  35.    screen function on PPaint. Then I added
  36.    some cool effects and characters to mak
  37.    e it a bit more 'Me' and also newer and
  38.    funkier! So basically this is the title
  39.    page to my new Game! I would  have sent
  40.    in the DMS file of the game but im sure
  41.    that magazines  cant be bothered   with
  42.    DMS files which are hard to extract and
  43.    only run from a reboot. However  if you
  44.    want the new Viking Raiders, now called
  45.    Viking Raiders SE [Special Edition] jus

  50.    published! I have also created an ULTRA
  51.    FAST version for 68030+ so ask for that
  52.    too! Ok..I said it would be Brief and I
  53.    t was! And now youre wondering "Why the
  54.    heck has he made this text in a weird o
  55.    blongy shape?" Well the  answer to that
  56.    is "Felt like it, HA! :)". Yes I though
  57.    t "Mmmm how can I make this Doc differe
  58.    nt, since I do docs with  Ascii art all
  59.    the time!".

  62.    it, its a four player War sim in  which
  63.    the CPU can control the enemies! hehehe
